Maternity Benefit after death of Newborn Child

i work in gov.aided school in mumbai maharashtra in secondary section. I had delivered a baby on 4th oct 2014 who passed away after 2days. Will i get 6months maternity leave now and also can i avail the same for the next 2 surviving children? or should i avail for abortion leave and save 2 maternity leaves for future?if i take maternity leave now my 3rd maternity leave which will be for my 2nd surviving child be cancelled?

As far as I know, government Maternity leave rules don't talk about baby death. So that means you should avail full Maternity benefit.

From this High Court order, we can see that Judge has made comments that "convalescing from labor and nursing breaks" are part of maternity leaves that's why it should be allowed in case of adoption of child. So even after death due to reason of need of convalescence, it should be allowed in case after death of child.
