Rejoining after Maternity Leave

Hi All,
I have rejoined the office after 3 months of Maternity leave. When I claimed my salary from the company for the period of last three moths company is refusing me to give salary of last three months company is saying that you have only worked for 6 months and then went for leave for 3 months why we would pay salary for 3 months and pressurizing me to resign from services.
Please suggest what to do now and how should I handle this issue your suggestions are highly appreciated.
