maternity leave after delivery
I was working for over 11 months in a MCD hospital as Senior Resident before my EDD. Whenever I enquired about availing leave i was told that on ad hoc basis SR were not eligible for maternity leave and that i d have to discontinue for confinement. So I discontinued without applying. I delivered in May 2014. However recently I came to know that ad hoc SR s were also eligible for maternity benefits. Can I still avail the benefits? Thank you!!
