Introduction to the Service With Action Group (SWAT) - SWAT.India - 02-09-2013 11:37 AM
Hello all,
SWAT – Service With Action Team is a group of volunteers who are planning to Educate, Equip and Empower women with the means (material & non material), to defend themselves against rape or any abuse.
SWAT is a small step by friends who are tired of anarchy, tired of meaningless ranting and futile candle light marches, furious about crime and desirous of ACTION, hoping to make a difference, with a clarion call to uphold a woman's right.
Our first mission is to distribute bottles of pepper spray to as many women as we can in a bid to arm them just a little more to defend themselves in any eventuality.
We hope that they never have to use the sprays and our effort and money is wasted. But even if one person benefits from this endeavour, we will consider it a job well done.
