My wife is a govt. primary teacher and on maternity leave. If she attend the counseling of teachers then the maternity leave will break and cancelled. please tell us

I assume counseling is an official duty. Let her join counseling without giving joining report. That is she has to do official duty informally. Her school can't force her to cut short her maternity leave.

Let her attend the counselling without giving any joining report or attendance and allow her to attend the counselling from an informal side as that would be comfortable for her and she would be able to perform her duty even. This way her maternity leave would not be cancelled and she would be able to attend her counselling even.
